I've always like Villon's line "ou sont les neiges d'antan" (where are the snows of yesteryear?)- paints various pictures for me

I have just had a go at a singing work shop with Steph and I want to start every day with a song workshop it was a great way to wake the brain up. But I also learnt a new way of developing a theme with a group undertaking percussion and I can use that in my workshop on Tuesday next week.

What a fantastic two days. I have learnt so much. Met so many new people and have lots to take back to school.
Thanks to everyone involved!

Learning can be fun! thought provoking, need for greater freedoms and flexibilities to begin the processes of making some of this stuff happen. More talking, listening & communication. New friendships and relationships.

A lovely experience to connect and explore.... sharing ideas, vision, words, create-ivity and ways forward.

Have really enjoyed getting to meet and talk with other teachers, artists over the past 2 days. It has really forced me to think about what creativity really is and I have learnt new skill and activites which I will definitely use when I get back to school.

End of day 2 in the CLC house. Housemates are all up for eviction, as creativity has run dry!
Ednie: here are the best bits - Sculpture, storytelling, sharing ideas , meeting new people and the food of course.
Hope people access the site and it is useful for the future of the arts in education in Gateshead. Also, that it will spark more discussion and create change for the better.

Many new and refreshing skills and ideas to take back to my classroom and share with others. Looking forward singing more, drawing with a new slant, getting newly found creative partners to come on in and engage with my school. Can't wait! Thoroughly enjoyed the two days and have gained so much from them. Already have INSET planned for the staff in embroyonic form.
Do you see us in our willow shelter? Fab!

A very well organised two days! Slipped easily from activity to activity. The creative sessions have been really enjoyable. Has also been great working with like minded friendly people.

The most inspiring, risk taking, enervating, amazing group. Has put us back in touch with our creativity. A real genuine experience where the discussion work could have stretched for days! When can we put the ideas into practice?!
This should be compulsary for educators artists and learners
