Who's Who: Sally Marshall

I have been teaching full time for 16 years. My background and specialism, although in dance is much broader, to incorporate a range of subjects including music, art, science and poetry/text.

What drives me?
The fascination and unwavering commitment to creating change in educational spheres and to challenge current teaching approaches/methodology.

What keeps me in teaching?
I live for those "magical" moments that happen unexpectedly, when working with young people. One idea sparks another, which then leads to unbelievable things happening.

What is important to me?
My family; walking "Sam" (Golden Labrador - very cheeky!), with my son, in all weathers, watching things grow that I have planted and then eating the produce. I also enjoy watching the actions of other animals that we keep and how they all interact. Lastly...having fun!
